All our class 4 coated screws are mechanically Galvanised. This coating process is used for thicker coated screws, 25microns and up. This process helps overcome hydrogen embrittlement (causes screws to snap) as is the case in Electroplating. Mechanically coated screws offer higher corrosion protection. As the Coating is thicker and all parts of the screws are coated during the rotation of the barrel of chemical.
